How does the CoolAdmin theme (or any theme) relate to Kanban?
A theme is just an interchangeable skin, it does not provide any feature.
On the other hand, modules or plugins do provide features.
Finally, regarding Kanban, have you considered using an external solution?
I use Kanboard, it's really nice with the Greenwing theme.
