Hello! I've recently started to use Rosariosis on Linux using LAPP. After installation I wanted to switch the language to spanish. I read all the installing information, activated the gettext extension on the php.ini file, but I wasn't able to make it work. Then I read here in the forum that there is a bug in PHP versions after 5.5 which prevents gettext to work properly.
I have found a possible solution that I would like to share with you.
In the config.inc.php file, under the Locales settings, I changed the variable "array" for the function "putenv". The original syntax goes like this:
$RosarioLocales= array( 'en_US.utf8', 'fr_FR.utf8', 'es_ES.utf8' );
I changed it for this:
$RosarioLocales =putenv("LANGUAGE=es_ES.utf8");
Maybe is not the best, but it made the language change work. I hope it can help anyone who may have encountered this issue
