As a student, logging in for the first time, a registration screen is presented:

Below that message would be a "registration" form, allowing student to enter parents information and other information in the "GENERAL INFO" section, which student can change.
Question 1: Can I disable the student access in this "GENERAL INFO" section and only allow read-only to this section for the student?
Also, as a student, after I filled out this registration section and clicked on Save. I no longer able to do any change because whenever I signed on as students and navigate to Student > Registration, I am presented with:

Note: Check Your parents have been registered.
Question 2: Is that by design?
