Description

RosarioSIS module to manage Meetings scheduled at your school. Administrators and teachers can add meetings using the Add a Meeting program.

Each meeting consists of a title, description, date, time, duration (optional), location (can be a link to a virtual room), and organizer.

Attendees can be added, whether they are parents, students or other teachers and staff. They can be notified by email (subject and body can be customized).

Any user or student can consult their meetings from the My Meetings program. They can also cancel their presence and note the reason why.

Upcoming meetings are listed on the portal.

This module was designed for meetings, whether online or in person. Those can be parents evenings (aka parent teacher conferences), appointments, activities or trips.

It can also serve to assign tasks as a meeting can have no attendees.

Note: administrators can create meetings on behalf of other users (Organizer).

Note 2: if you do not wish administrators to be able to edit others’ meetings, uncheck “Can Edit” Meetings using the Users > User Profiles program.

Premium module

The Premium version adds the following functionalities:

• Book a meeting (limit attendees, their user profile and course period)
• The system prevents booking a meeting that was just booked by someone else
• Add block of meetings (over consecutive days; set a break between each meeting)
• Attach a file
• Notify the organizer by email when someone books or cancels the meeting
• Customizable email reminder (X days before)
• Write report and private notes
• Filter meetings by status (free, booked, overbooked) and organizer
• Calendar: Meeting View
• iCalendar plugin integration
• Avoid parents making double bookings with the “Parents cannot book more than one meeting per student and teacher” option

Install

Copy the Meeting/ folder (if named Meeting-main, rename it) and its content inside the modules/ folder of RosarioSIS.

Or go to School > Configuration > Modules and upload the zip file of the module.

Then, go to School > Configuration > Modules and click “Activate”.
